Senior Patrol Leader (SPL)
 Requirements:

An experienced Scout (ranked as a Life to Eagle), with age and maturity. Who is respected by the troop and who will provide the best leadership. In charge of troop meeting from beginning to end. Chairs meetings of the patrol leader’s council as they plan troop activities and programs.

 Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL)
 Requirements:

An experienced Scout (ranked as a Life to Eagle), with age and maturity. Appointed by the Senior Patrol Leader. Assistant to the Senior Patrol Leader and takes his place when he is absent. Trains and provides direction for the: Troop Quartermaster, Scribe, Historian, Librarian and Instructors

 Patrol Leader (PL)
 Requirements:

Rank is First Class and above. Responsible for the patrol’s activities and represents the patrol at the patrol leader’s council. He appoints an assistant patrol leader to serve with him.

 Patrol Leader (PL)

 Troop Guide   2 positions
 Requirements:

Rank is First Class and above. Both a leader and a mentor, who provides direction, coaching and support with the patrol leader of a new Scout patrol.

 Scribe  1 position
 Requirements:

The troops note taker. He attends meetings of the patrol leaders' council and keeps a logbook of their discussions.

 Historian  2 positions
 Requirements:

Collects and preserves troop photographs, news stories, flags, scrapbooks, awards and other memorabilia.

 Quatermaster
 Requirements:

Is the supply and equipment boss. He keeps a current inventory of troop equipment and sees that it is in good condition. He works with patrol quartermasters as they check out equipment and return it, and reports to the patrol leaders’ council on equipment in need of replacement or repair.

 Librarian  1 position
 Requirements:

Oversees the care and use of troop books, pamphlets and merit badge counselor’s lists. He checks out the books to Scouts and leaders and maintains record to ensure that everything is returned. He also suggests if new material is needed and reports on the need to repair or replace current books.

Chaplain Aide
 Requirements:

Assists the troop chaplain and sees that religious holidays are considered during program planning and promotes the religious emblems program.

Junior Assistant Scoutmaster
 Requirements:

At least 16 years old and who has shown outstanding leadership skills. Is appointed by the senior patrol leader with the consent of the Scoutmaster. He follows the guidance of the Scoutmaster in providing support and supervision to other boy leaders in the troop

Den Chief
 Requirements:

Will have to attend a Den Chief training session from the council. Works with a den of Cub Scouting and with their adult den leader. Assists in den meetings, encourages Cub Scout advancement, and serves as a role model for younger boys. Serving as den chief can be a great first leadership experience for a Scout.
